Tired of watching your neighbor prepare dinner 5 ft away in your 50 feet wide lot, but not ready to commit all day Saturday mowing an acre lot? This new subdivision in 2017, Saddlewood Estates in Flower Mound, might be the right place to relocate. Nestled between the notorious Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch and Saddle Oaks neighborhood, this is a quite get away with a country feel (at least for now). It is still just minutes away from retail and restaurants. Bridlewood golf corse is just a mile away and there is horse boarding in both directions within a few miles. Lots are half an acre and many have mature oaks that we all love. The developers have also dedicated a significant area (roughly 15 acres) to greenbelt common space and have loaded it with trees. The builders Bud Bartley Homes and Victor Myers Homes both do exceptional work and can build anything you want. Visit their websites for the most current information but be sure to lock in your rebate first. The current LISD schools are Bridlewood Elementary, Downing Middle school and Marcus High school. Saddlewood still has several of the total 49 lots to choose from and many up to green space (i.e. no barking dogs or neighbors watching you). Prices for these custom homes start around $750k. One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is the architectural diversity. Because each home is custom you won’t have rows of box homes.
Below are some pictures of the current Bud Bartley model and a few other completed and spec homes.
They say pictures are worth a thousand words, and they are, so the video from a thousand feet is just really cool. Check out the recent fly by in this Youtube video. Email Kevin@KevinLewisProperties.net to schedule a private tour.
